Yesterday I made waffles with my little boy and got inspired for my next blog theme. Due to my stand by time next week, I thought about “what’s up next?”
I stayed at home the last couple of weeks and the WANDERLUST got me, for me as a flightattendant it’s actually very tough to stay at one place for such a long time!
My last tour inside Europe was many months ago and I literally miss it.
Madrid, Barcelona, Italy or Portugal, Brussels or Moscow, so many beautiful places I visited.
Last August I travelled to #Brussels, I got a day off and used my time for sightseeing and taking photographs of beautiful spots.
Many years ago, I allready had one day off and strolled through Brussels together with my mom. We went to beautiful antique stores, and flea markets.
Had coffee in cute little unique cafés.
Brussels is full of life, it’s international and incredibly interesting. Last time I started my stroll at the European Parlament and continued to the King’s Palace and walked down to the Grande Place.
When you’re at the Grande Place, you need to walk around and visit one of the nice cafés or just enjoy the little art shops. I was very inspired by them…..
Eat Belgian Waffles!!!
Waffles, fries, chocolate, beer…
Belgium may be famous for its junk food, but there’s far more to its national cuisine than that. Summer in Belgium is mussel season and you need to try typical belgium and flemish dishes!!!
But I tried the fries, the waffles and the beer of course!
I loved the several parcs in Brussels.
Families were picnicking, children ran around, I had the impression that it’s a young, very outgoing city!
I definitely want to see more of Brussels,…many more unique places! One of my very close friends has relatives there and I hope, that one day, she can show me around, the best way to explore cities is to know locals;)
I took a lot of pictures.
Although it was so incredibly hot I walked distances to see as much as I wanted to see!
So what’s up next? Where will I travel to? It’s always exciting……
Let’s wait and find out….!
